Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

HA fillers are effective for treating a wide range of age-related and structural concerns. These include loss of facial volume, softening of lines around the nose and mouth, hollowing of the cheeks or temples, lip definition and hydration, jawline contouring, and under-eye hollowing. They can also be used to improve facial symmetry and proportions, particularly the nose and jawline areas, creating a more balanced and refreshed appearance while maintaining natural expression.

HA fillers work by replacing naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, which declines with age. Following a detailed consultation, Mr Mathur or Dr Supriya, carefully assesses facial anatomy, movement and skin quality before developing a personalised treatment plan.

When will I see results from HA fillers?

Results are visible immediately, although mild swelling and minor bruising may temporarily mask the final outcome. Full results typically settle within 1-2 weeks, revealing smoother contours and restored volume.

How long do HA fillers last?

Results generally last between 6-18 months, depending on the area treated and product used. Maintenance treatments help sustain results over time.

Are HA fillers safe?

When administered by an experienced injector, HA fillers have an excellent safety profile. Mr Mathur’s surgical background, and Dr Supriya’s extensive training and passion for aesthetics, ensures precise placement and risk minimisation. At Kirbha Clinic we also use Doppler ultrasound technology, where appropriate, to map underlying blood vessels before treatment, allowing injections to be planned with greater precision and an added level of safety, particularly in higher-risk facial areas.

Is any aftercare required following HA filler treatment?

After treatment, minimal aftercare is usually needed. Patients are advised to avoid massaging or applying pressure to treated areas for the first 24-48 hours, and to steer clear of strenuous exercise, excessive heat, or alcohol immediately afterwards to reduce swelling or bruising. Gentle skincare and sun protection are encouraged.
